  Hi Dan,
  
  I have to wear my Personal Protective Equipment, typically hi-vis jacket, safety shoes and gloves when I’m out on-site.
  
  The common equipment that I use for pump testing is…
  – tape measure
  – thickness gauge
  – strap-on flow meter (http://eesiflo.com/portable-flow-meter.html)
  – pressure gauge (http://www.ge-mcs.com/en/pressure-and-level/handheld-test-tools/dpi-705.html)
  – walkie talkies
  – spanners of various sizes, PTFE tape, duck tape and couplant gel
