• Question: whats the strangest position you have been in as a engineer?

      Up a electricity pylon looking at a wire being ‘jointed’ together – you had to be harnessed up, climb up the scaffolding and lie to look at the joint – not too high up thank goodness!

      Doing the Conga around the office with one of my bosses and a sales rep! It’s not all work work work here.

      On a more serious note I went up Norton Tower, a big water tower in Runcorn. Climbing up the ladders over a big water tank was a little unnerving! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norton_Water_Tower

      At the top of a wind turbine watching the blades go round and round thinking this is not as noisy as i thought it would be 🙂

      I once burned some poop for Bill Gates. It was a slightly surreal experience but I think he liked it!!
