Yes, I went to Swansea University and studied for 4 years for an undergraduate Masters degree in Electrical and Electronic engingeering – I learnt so much! But I could have also done an apprenticeship in Power Engineering and still ended up in the job I’m in!

I did 4 years (3 years of physics at Oxford and 1 year of engineering at Imperial).

I went to Brunel University. It took me 5 years in total to get my degree…mainly because I failed a year (I had to redo the whole year!) and had a year off. It then took me 3 years of development at work to become an Incorporated Engineer.

It took me 4 years to get my Masters in Chemical Engineering. I then stayed on for another 3 and a half years to do my PhD (a degree you get after doing some research). Thats 7.5 years in total! Now I work at a university so you could say I’m still studying 😉

The good thing about engineering is that you never stop learning (but thankfully you do stop learning in a classroom!) there are always new things to know about.
