Some great questions.
Looks like you are into transport being more environmentally friendly !
We already have wind powered transport… such as sailing boats.. checkout this.. the fastest wind powered vehicle on Earth! http://www.greenbird.co.uk/
i think its possible we will use some form of this in cars… but what happens when the wind dosnt blow?

Cathy Fraser answered on 23 Jun 2014:
Why not! The wind is a great source of energy – although, when it doesn’t blow there is an issue!
I’m not sure if this will happen in the future, it’s something that is possible – but I can’t see it being a all-the-time solution!
Mark Greaves answered on 23 Jun 2014:
You could use a wind turbine to charge an electric car…I reckon that is about as good as you may get from wind power.
Roma Agrawal answered on 23 Jun 2014:
That sounds like fun! I hope they can make cars with big turbines attached on top- would be funny!
Rory Hadden answered on 24 Jun 2014:
Not directly, I don’t think. But as Mark says wind is a great renewable resource (as well as solar, tidal and other) that can be used to generate electricity to power cars (and lots of other things too!)
