• Question: Will electric eals ever mack electric

      I’d never thought of this before to be honest, but a quick googling tells me that electric eels can produce up to 600V of electricity – which is quite a lot (considering our mains are 240V!). That’s delivered in short bursts – there’s a link here to an eel lighting up a Christmas tree for a short period of time!

      Thinking outside the box – that’s what engineers do – so this is a great question about looking at things in different ways and coming up with ideas and potential solutions to problems

      Excellent. I hadn’t though thought of this. I expect there might be a problem building a big enough fish tank for all those eels thought! 🙂
