My Typical Day: There is no such thing!
One of the reasons I became an academic is I have difficulty focusing on something for an extended period of time! My average day involves many different activities – for example, yesterday I put the finishing touches to a conference paper, wrote and tested code to run an embedded web-server for a home security system prototype, gave a lecture on computer architectures, met with two final year project students, and put together a draft structure for one of our courses!
