• Question: how hard is your job as an engineer?

      It’s challenging! The problems we have to solve are difficult and fascinating. Sometimes they take years to solve.

      I’d never describe my job as hard – I’d also say challenging! But the whole point of being an engineer is to solve complex problems (there’d be no point in the job is the problems were easy!). I find it especially rewarding when I overcome a problem and can see my solution in action.
