• Question: is it easy or hard to make cameras

      It’s definitely not easy, otherwise everyone would do it! Rather than saying hard, I’d say it’s challenging.

      Compared to cameras on earth, we also have to think about these things:
      – Will the camera work in a vacuum (there is no air in space!)
      – Will the camera work in the very hot and cold temperatures in space?
      – Can the camera survive the radiation in space?

      Thankfully on these projects there are teams of experts who can all answer pieces of a puzzle, which come together to create a camera that works in space.
