Paul James is the winner of the Energy Zone, after receiving the most votes from students! He wins £500 to spend on more STEM engagement activities. Here’s what he had to say about his victory: I was astonished and very pleased with the quality and quantity of questions that were raised in all of the sessions and a big shout out goes to the excellent work from the administrators, funders, and the masterminds behind this event. Thanks to all the students, engineers and teachers that have taken part in the Energy Zone! It has been a fab 6 weeks. We hope you’ve enjoyed it – and we hope you’ve learnt something about what it’s like being an engineer. There have been some excellent questions asked by students. What’s on: Autumn 2022

We’ve got lots of interesting activities for students this autumn term. Get stuck in with I’m an Engineer and I’m a Scientist! Teachers: Register and get access to all available activities each month ❯This includes I’m an Engineer, I’m a Scientist, as well as our other projects. In addition to our activities running throughout the year, we will also offer special activities where we might ask you to sign up to take part. School students gain a better understanding of STEM careers, and see STEM as something ‘for them’, by connecting with engineers, scientists, researchers, and experts in their field.
