My Work

I focus on the synthesis of non toxic quantum dots for energy and biomedical applications

My Typical Day: I don't really have a typical day - my PhD is very varied and my schedule is flexible. I'm not a morning person, so I tend to rock up to work around 11, and stay until 6 or 7. Some days I'm in the lab doing synthesis, others I might be doing various characterisation, and some days I just spend catching up on emails and admin. It's all a mix, and often depends on what your mood is that day.
