      Panavision is good, they used to be run by Ian Neil

      Also in the UK Barr & Stroud are gtreat at lenses for cameras.

      Why not email them and ask if they would take you on as a summer job or work placement? I imagine there will be similar one near BBC Manchester, BBC Scotland as well as the big ones in London.
