Question: in your opinion who is the best engineer ever

Someone you might not consider an engineer – Leonardo da Vinci – but if you look at his designs and drawings, they are just inspiring – so much ahead of his time. I quite like his art too 🙂

Awesome answer Claire, sometimes the best engineers can work between many disciplines. Da Vinci designed helicopters and parachutes and also worked out how different parts of the human body worked too. Hopefully, people recognise that the Mona Lisa is just the start of Da Vinci’s genius.

I would argue that Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest. He really did invent some pretty cool stuff: rotating magnetic field, tesla coil, radio, AC motor, amongst lots of other things.
