      when you say “this idea” are you meaning this chat room ?… if so…. I have to tell you it wasn’t our idea… some clever person who thought is was a good idea to link school pupils directly with Engineers invented it…

      Hi nockout and all the others qho want to know about this question.

      As Simon says — the chat room was certainly not our idea.
      If you’re talking about our research, well mine came up as an idea over dinner!! My collaborator (a surgeon) and I were chatting about some of the challenges in regenerative medicine over dinner… and then we realised we have a very significant problem that needs to be solved — how to store the cells we will need for regenerative and transplant medicine to carry on being successful and having a future as population on the planet starts to age further! A few months of grant writing and research planning later – i had a project!
