      Great question Simbear….

      Its very important the next generation of Engineers are inspired – there is already a shortage of Engineering in the UK across many different roles… new Engineers are needed to help the country develop and solve problems in the future….

      Without Engineers there would be no manufacturing, no science industries, no building, no cars…. just think is we had no Engineers….!

      Hi Simbear,

      Very important! We need people who think like engineers – good problem solvers, good at maths, good at seeing problems and persevering to find a solution. Engineering is important to the growth of our society, and I think it’s important that the next generation understands the value and skills of engineers, even if they don’t become an engineer themselves.
