I got A- C – Maths, Science, Geography, CDT – (Craft Design & Technology), I didn’t do a language and didn’t do very well in my English Literature or English Language – getting D’s !!! (oooops)….
I’m afraid I didn’t take GCSE’s, as I did my high school in New Zealand. The subjects I took at the equivalent examinations were: Maths, English, French, PE, Chemistry and Physics. I did pretty well in all except for English. I enjoyed learning.
Like Rebecca, I didn’t actually do GCSE’s as I grew up in Hong Kong.
We had an equivalent exam HKOLEs (why do exam boards like silly groups of letters?).
For that set of exams I took 10 subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, English, English Lit, Bible studies, French, Economics and Art.
I didn’t do particularly well – only two As in English and English Literature, Bs in all my sciences, and Cs and Ds for everythign else. I wasn’t too proud about it and it certainly made me think about concentrating on my studies a little bit more.
Are you doing your GCSEs? Or have you done them already?
