Question: what is a car jack ?

Hey there,

So a car jack is really a tool that helps lift vehicles of the ground so that maintenance can be performed. Mechanical jacks are usually rated for a maximum lifting capacity (for example, 1.5 tons or 3 tons) depending on whether you want to lift up just one side of the car to perhaps change a tire or the whole front end of the car if you want to tinker with the engine.
