• Question: What is the most complicated machine you have supplied a doctor with-in your opinion?

      Hi!

      Well I’m afraid the only things I supply the doctors with are mobile phones, tablets, and medical equipment that are already available in the hospital wards. My research group focuses on using mobile technology to aid the delivery of healthcare. So not that complicated sorry. I am chuffed with the way we use the smartphone to measure respiratory rate – we make use of the inbuilt accelerometer to calculate respiration, pretty clever if you ask me!
