One of the best places I’ve ever been is to lake Tekapo in the south island of New Zealand. It is a beautiful clear blue colour (cold, glacial water), surrounded by snow-tipped mountains, including the tallest mountain in New Zealand! It’s a beautiful sight. I like many of the other lakes, beaches and rivers (can you tell I like being around water?!).
I enjoyed a visit to Singapore in Asia… Everywhere was so clean… ( you can get fined for chewing gum on the streets !) The people were very polite and courteous and the weather was very warm.
The best place I’ve ever visited has to be Sicily – it’s an island just off the toe of Italy’s boot. The Island has been heavily featured in the history books for over 3,000 years meaning that it has it’s own spin on culture, food and architecture coming from a variety of backgrounds (Phoenician, Carthaginian, Greek and Roman).
It is home to Mount Etna – the largest active volcano in Europe and still casts black ash over the island with its ever present eruptions and has so many beautiful beaches along the coast. An island with something for everyone. Hills, sea, warmth and amazing food.
