      Hi Ellie!

      I signed up for this because I want to let young people know about biomedical engineering. I didn’t know anything about it when I was at school, yet it’s a growing field. I also enjoy talking about what I do.

      I actually didn’t know it was a competition…

      I want to encourage students to study in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) so that hopefully they will use their studies to have exciting and value adding careers… the whole is full of challenges yet to be solved – knowledge of STEM subjects will go a long way to support this….

      I signed up because I wanted to show young people that there are lots of cool things that you can do as engineer, it’s not just about beams and machines! 🙂

      I signed up because I think it is really important that you guys get to know about what engineering is and what engineers can do (EVERYTHING).
