Question: Have you ever made a machine that moves like an arm and would you use it to help disabled people or use it like Otto Octavius? Would it be possible to make an arm prospective arm made of nature and it won’t affect nature?
No, I have never made a robot arm. However, I have seen that 1st year engineering students in Belgium are asked to make such arms. Though, they can only grab a can of coke and turn it upside down to fill a glass.
I would use Otto Octavius design to help people. It would be great to climb walls and lift huge weights. I thing it would be very useful in building homes.
No, it would not be possible to make a prosthesis that would not affect nature. Everything we do affects nature. Even if you would use simple grass and branches, you still need to cut the grass and break the branches, which destroys them.
