When I am for example preparing a sample, this involves growing cells. I would have to wear a lab coat and gloves. And work in what’s called a “hood”, it is this box with a window where I can put my arms through. This makes sure that no germs come in contact with the cells .
depends. If i am working with electronics or optics I generally dont wear a lab coat or goggles but when I am working with biology I have to wear both and gloves.
If I am working in the clean room in physics I have to wear a complete hazmat suit (a whole suit and hat and shoes) because no outside dust or anything can be in there.
