      As a PhD student not that much but when I get a “proper” job there’s quite a high earning potential.

      I got paid quite well, especially for a PhD student, because I am funded by a really good programme.

      Not enough for the sort of work we do. But you don’t do a PhD for the money.

      I earn about £14k a year 🙂

      Significantly more than the others. However, I am well into my career whereas, by comparison, the others are working their way up the earnings ladder.
