      Carbon because its involved in so much stuff! You could be in almost anything as a carbon atom

      Gold. Not (just) because it’s valuable, but because the colour can change depending on the size of the particles. It can be green or purple as well. And it is used for a lot of cool science things like making light signals stronger, or in electronics.
