Question: What do you find so interesting about crystals?

So crystals are solid objects that constructed by a repetition of a specific pattern. Whoever, due to the shape of the molecules that construct the crystals, the final shape of the crystals is everything but perfect.
I find them really beautiful in the way they are so ordered yet so imperfect.
Crystals are like people. It’s the imperfections that make them interesting.
