I do some microbiology in my research! Its pretty cool although I’m definitely not an expert. Biomedical Science as far as I understand it is studying bioloogy, chemistry, biochemistry and physics to help you understand how the body works. I did some of that in my degree 🙂 Did you have any more specific questions?
I know that they are very important to our current cutting-edge technology as we start to move away from physical properties of minerals and metals. We require more complex structures that only nature can produce with millions of years of evolution.
Hi Ana, it would depend a bit on the type of biomedical science you would be doing. In some fields (like for example drug discovery), biology and chemistry would be more important. There are definitely bits of biomedical science that don’t involve too much physics.
