“Guacamole” (pronounced ɡwakamolay) a dip sauce for nacho’s made from avocados.
A “mole” is a unit of measurement commonly used in chemistry to measure atoms and molecules. One mole of dioxygen (O2) for example, is about 6.022×10^23 of dioxygen molecules (so a whole lot).
The number 6.022×1023 mol−1 is called “Avogadro’s number”, which sounds a bit like “Avocado’s number” because guacamole is made from avocados.
