Challenging, rewarding, frustrating . . . But if you come up with a new idea, develop it and turn it into a product, when you see someone using it in the street, or you get on an aeroplane knowing that your parts are making sure it’s safe to fly on, there’s not another feeling of pride like it.
I agree with Stephen, it can be very frustrating at times but the feeling you get when it works – when you’re computer code runs the way you wanted to or the device you were building is doing the right thing – it’s really rewarding!
For me it’s very varied as well, I like having a whole lot of very different things to do, and my current project allows me to do that.
