• Question: Why do you start your experiment after dark?

      There would be different reasons to. One might be because I’m using a specific machine that a lot of other people are using as well, and if I start later, no one will come bother me 🙂
      Or maybe I need to start something and then wait 10 hours for a next step. I would then start it in the evening , so I can do the next step in the morning.

      One of my experiments lasts 13 hours 🙁 so I either have to start or finish it after dark.

      I have to start my experiments after dark because I am trying to detect very small light intensity changes I cant have any light present that I dont want to see on my camera.
