      It was a ‘White Paper’ on a method I created for adding more machines to a virtual reality environment.

      Before my “invention”, adding the next machine was time-consuming, but once I taught the other engineers (on a consultancy role actually), things sped up greatly. That was most satisfying as I had to learn new skills – balance the technical writing keeping all detail without waffling on and on!

      Probably my dissertations at university – I did one in my 3rd year and one in my 4th. Months of work all in one document and with one presentation – I’ve never written a report so big and detailed otherwise!

      One thing I’ll say about presentations – when you check your memory stick for a file, make sure you open the file to check its the right one, and isn’t the very first draft with just the first slide….talking from experience there unfortunately! I did that in my dissertation presentation and had to do the rest from memory by waving my hands about in the air trying to show what was in the document!! Not an experience I look back on fondly….
