Yes I do actually. I think I have had a good experience and our work is not all that well understood. Increasingly engineering and innovation is critical to success of an economy. Just look at manufacturing in Germany or productivity in teh USA. That kind of performance is about engineering and processes – there is a lot to do and its interesting. So if I can demystify it a bit that’s good.
Only if they want to be an engineer. What I want more than anything is to show people what engineering is and what they can achieve if they do want a career in the industry. If they decide it’s not for them, then that’s fine, but I almost missed out on a great career because I didn’t know it existed.
