• Question: How much has your life changed since you became a engineer or not?

      Well my life has changed but really that’s because I was at school/6th form college/uni before becoming an engineer.

      Comparing university life and working life – I actually have more free time because once I’m home on a evening the time is my own, there’s no coursework to do. So I enjoy weekends and evenings more, and now I have more money so there is more freedom there too.

      I had the same bills to pay at university that I have now, so I worked part time whilst studying. I did quite enjoy that job but I’m glad I get do something I really love on a daily basis now that my hobby is my job!

      It changed for the better! No more teachers telling me what to do (and making me lose motivation!), it is now me, my brain, and the task at hand. Far, far better! 🙂
