      Hi my name is Leigh, I live in Yorkshire with my partner Thomas and son Rudy (11yrs) We have a three dogs, A 50kg Bernese Mountain dog called Luna, a Jug called Hugo and Millie the crazy French Bull dog.

      In my spare time I love walking my dogs and keeping fit and healthy. I enjoy going to nice restaurants on a weekend with my friends and family and my favourite music is R&B!

      I am senior Business Development Manager for Sims Life Cycle Services (SLS). SLS is an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) company.

      This means that we collect IT equipment from all over the world, such as laptops, servers from data centres, mobile phones, and tablets. We collect  from large companies that want to buy new ones.

      The devices are  typically 3 – 5 years old, and still in good working order. SLS securely data wipe the devices, repair any damages and sell them as refurbished on eBay, Amazon and other retail platforms.

       

    • My Typical Day: Everyday if different for me, which is one of the reasons I love my job so much. If I am at home I am busy walking my dogs early morning, then I could be on a aeroplane travelling to visit a client or a recycling site. I can be presenting in front of an audience, talking about what we do as a company. Or I can be found in my home office catching up on paper work. In the evenings if I am away away with work I will be having dinner with colleague's or clients. If I am at home I am usually at the gym or Pilates or taking my son to football training.
