      Hi Chloe and jadeE,
      I went to University of Plymouth at age 21. It wasn’t until I became a summer placement student with the Environment Agency that I chose to become an engineer. Upon graduation, I started my training as an engineer with the Environment Agency.

      To experience being an engineer yourself, apply for a work experience placement with an engineering company and see if you will like it. Women can be great engineers too.
