      Dear _Miscellaneous_,
The pace of work, whether busy or not busy depends on the type of the work at hand. I do not have to check the flooded area if I am not trained to do it.

For example, during extreme wet weather in 2013, I was involved in flood incident management by responding to queries from communities – it was the busiest time. Some of my colleagues were out on the ground around the clock operating pumping stations, issuing flood warnings and checking that flood banks, walls and barriers are working effectively. When an area is flooded, the first thing to stay safe. It is important to continue to be prepared for flooding, sign up for free flood warnings, keep up to date with the latest situation, and stay away from dangerous floodwater.

      Hi!

The water question does not relate to me I guess :).

My job is busy, sometimes very busy and sometimes not so much. It depends.
However, if you enjoy engineering then you enjoy what you are doing. It is like playing Xbox for younger people. If you love it, then you can do it all the time. I know it may sound funny, but this is true :). I love my job and I can do a lot of it.
