• Question: What are the pros and cons of your job?

      I am pretty much my own boss moving from job to job( as long as I complete things on time). If I get really interested in something time can vanish as I try to get it working. When things are quiet I can get on with other things or take flexi time.

      The pros of my job are the ability to solve problems and be being in charge of a solution that I will deliver. This is a great felling knowing that my knowledge will create something very useful that everyone depends on. The cons are the boring meetings and reading emails I guess 🙂

      People is the best thing about my job. We are passionate about our work. When things are not going so well, we help each other. This keeps me going.

      So the pros are probably the people I have met and worked with, the places I have visited because of my job, how supportive my team, boss and the company are, but most of all the satisfaction of seeing something I have worked on actually being used by someone.
      The cons are probably not having as much holiday as I would like and having to write reports!

      Pros 🙂
      * Travel around the world
      * Playing sport in work time
      * Taking helicopters to bits!

      Cons 🙁
      * Being away from my 2 kids
