Question: what is the most exciting project you've worked on so far?

Thats a tricky one as i have worked on loads of projects over the years. My favourite and the most exciting for purely selfish reasons was building my own timber framed house. Watching the sections being craned in and the house take shape was amazing and being able to go up the scaffolding and be inside the roof space of a house that 3 weeks before didn’t exist was great. My kids loved using the scaffold as a climbibg frame!
At work getting light around our 561m circumference particle accelerator for the 1st time after spending 3 years designing and building it was also pretty special. I joined when the site was still a field so really felt part of something big when we turned it on for the 1st time!
