• Question: Do you enjoy drawing?

      I do. I love it 🙂

      With my job I don’t just have to do initial design sketches just on paper, I also put them into a CAD program, then a 3D CAD program THEN a calculation program to make sure the size of the cables are ok (so the technology and then end doesn’t melt the cable:O)

      I enjoy mostly showing GCSE pupils the basics and fundamentals of how to start drawing both on paper and then moving on to CAD software!

      Have you used Google SketchUp or something similar?

      Yes, my engineering drawing by hand is kind of awful but good enough to get an idea across, what I really enjoy is soft sketching with a graphite pencil set
