In my sector the salary range is roughly like this:
Technician starting £18k
Graduate starting £22-26k
Engineer starting £28kHowever it depends on experience, grades achieved and qualifications.

Engineers start on about £30k+ here, we don’t take graduates currently, people have to have a fair bit of experience.
