• Question: what is your most biggest memory that you have had in your job?

      I would say being part of the International Womens Day campaign. It was a good way to be a voice for female engineers and took me out of my comfort zone as i was put under studio lights and big cameras.

    I was highly commended for the Oxfordshire Apprentice of the Year awards! I had to go through an application and interview process for this and I am very proud to have got the award. It was great to see the work that I have done being noticed.

    I won an award for volunteering at science week at our local forestry centre. Each year a group of grads/interns are given a project to complete as part of their programme, they have to plan and organise the event and work with the forestry centre to make it happen. As a STEM ambassador I go along to support the event and assist the forestry/educational staff and help the project team. The forestry team nominated me for volunteering for at the event for three consecutive years. The award ceremony was meant to take place at Pride Park football stadium, unfortunately it got snowed off!
