I live with my mother, as I’m her carer in Ashby de la Zouch. We have a dog which was rescued from Romania. My favourite breakfast is called the Dalton from the Olive Branch café.  I’m an NCIS fan (Washington, New Orleans and Los Angeles.)  I play walking netball and sing in a choir.

No two days are same!  Except when dealing with the project on call sheets which have to be completed over three days each week for the following week.

General Development (GD) kits need to be processed and information tables checked and updated  and issued on a regular basis throughout the week.

Emails need to answered daily.

At certain times of the year, I will also be completing the paperwork for forthcoming brownie and cub science nights.

In the Autumn I help out at the science week for  primary school children at our local forestry centre.

I arrive at work at about 6am.  First job of the day is read my emails and answer then according to their priority.  If an on-call sheet has issued and there are requests for updates they need to be dealt with first.  My first tasks is to update the General Development (GD) kit streamer.  The streamer processes the kits ready for dispatch to an engine on test or rework.  The update involves three processes updating an excel spreadsheet and two tasks using a software call SAP.

The second is to issue the on call sheet, this is an excel spreadsheet  with all the projects and teams.  The Engine Owners (EO) then complete the sheet with their requirements for their engines and which prep shop or test bed that it will be on where it run the test it needs to complete.  Once they have completed their requirements their manager will approve their relevant project sheet.  This will then be issued to the project engineers who will complete the sheets with their availability.  Once it’s completed the sheets are issued to the projects for reference.

As Girlguiding has recently changed their badge syllabus.  I’d use the money on brownie events promoting the new skills builders and activities.  New resources will be required to cover the syllabus.  I’d also use the money for resources to promote STEM within my local church.
