I want to build a Mars rover that I can take to schools and career fairs to show you guys what is possible, and what you could be doing. It is sometimes difficult to find information on how these things are made and the technology that you find on them, but I want to make that more accessible to everyone. I have some designs, and I will make it either way, but the money can speed up the process and make a much cooler design.

I would use the money to help run workshops and events for those who are interest or what to find out more about STEM careers. it would help me to inspire others and hopefully open some doors and opportunities for those less privileged.

I’d run a day of outreach activities where school pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds in Birmingham can come to the university to do some exciting engineering experiments!

I would use to do STEM outreach, encouraging more young women to take up STEM careers. That it’s not just for boys and scientist aren’t little men dressed in a white lab coat with silver hair!

I’d work with local schools to run STEM competitions and workshops using things like Lego Robotics or programmable drones.
