Question: what projects do you think you would be doing when you are older

I would like to work on creating low cost prosthetics for people in low and middle income countries. Most of the world’s amputees are in these countries, but only about 2% of the world’s amputees with prosthetics are in those countries. There are a lot of amputations there due to disease and left over mines in areas where there is or was war. They don’t have access to even basic prosthetics because they are so expensive. Even what is considered cheap here in the UK or in the US is far too expensive for them. I want to use my engineering skills to help them, perhaps to use 3D printing and other methods.
