      Yep, I don’t think I have any subscribers, many one or two – I don’t put videos up very often!

      I do, I’ve just got playlists of my own there though. Search for ‘bird strike tests’ on youtube and you’ll find some videos of dead chickens and geese being fired into a jet engine with a bird cannon.

      This is an important test to make sure the engine can have a contained explosion, if a bird (or multiple birds) fly in front of the aeroplane and into the engine. The birds are fired from the cannon bum first, because generally if a bird gets too close to an aeroplane engine, it will try to fly away before being sucked into it.
