• Question: how long does it take to make an engine

      Hi, great question 🙂 it does depend what type of engine it is. From start to finish it takes in the order of two to three months to manufacture all the parts for the engine (all 18,000 parts!) and to assemble them. Since there are lots of engines being made at the same time, the production engines (one’s we’ve made many times before) come off the production line about once every 2 weeks. I don’t work that much with manufacture of engines in my job though! I work mostly on a computer 🙂
