Because I was good at maths and physics and I liked the sound of designing mechanical and electrical things.

There are millions of other subjects which is why it’s so difficult to choose what subjects you want to take at school. I stressed a lot about what subjects to take at school. In the end, I just chose the one’s that I enjoyed the most.

It led me to maths and physics… so I decided to apply to University to do a physics degree. Pure science was a bit too theoretical for me so I decided to switch to engineering. Engineering is just applied science, and I realised that my favourite bit about science was getting to see it in real life 🙂
