I built my first PC in my bedroom back in 1998 and I’ve put together quite a few performance machines over the years to do a bit of gaming. Nothing that would break records – I don’t have the money for that. Putting together a working PC is actually quite simple, the difficulty is selcting the right parts so they work well together and then tuning the settings so you get the best performance from them.
It can take quite less than a day to physically put all the parts together but then another few weeks to get it all working perfectly. A fun hobby but quite expensive too so I tend to only build one every few years when the macine starts to get a bit behind the performance requirements of new games.
