  Well I’m part of a team that test new technologies like sensors, traffic counters and sometimes signs on roads for various clients and provide recommendations based on what we found. This includes researching various technologies, planning trials on roads, writing reports and sometimes even presenting. It may not sound so “electrical” but many aspects of researching and trialling require you to know the basics of electrical and sometimes electronic engineering.
