• Question: How many hours do you work?

      Usually around 8 hours a day Monday-Friday, but could be slightly more at busy times or if things go wrong in the lab!

      I work around 8 hours a day. Some engineering projects are long hours but I manage to keep mine down by getting all my work done quickly. The hours are generally shorter in winter too as you can’t really work on a construction site in the dark.

      Normally I work about 8 or 9 hours a day plus commuting but every now and then I have to work a bit longer if there’s a deadline coming up and a load of work to do!

      I work about 7.5 hours a day which is 37.5 hours a week.
