Question: I know what inspired you but how did those things inspire you?

Well first of (like I said in my profile) my dad used to be a petroleum engineer but he’s retired now. When I was younger, he would spend a lot of time offshore on a rig which I thought sounded quite fun so I initially wanted to be a Petroleum Engineer just like him so I could get to travel a lot. At a young age, that alone had me sold on the whole engineering life path. As I grew older and read more about engineering, it became quite clear that engineering wasn’t just about travelling (unfortunately) but I still thought it would be fun because I absolutely loved Lego Bionicle which to me was basically Mechanical Engineering (even though there’s a lot more to it than lego).
