Well at work I mainly just use a laptop with software like AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. When I finally get to do onsite work, I might get to use some tools though.
At home, I’ve got a soldering iron, screwdriver set, wire strippers, pliers and allen keys.
Oh wow, more than I can count! The big ones are frequency generators that make special signals and oscilloscopes that can measure the responses from the system. Then there’s all manner of hand tools, soldering equipment, 3D printer, milling machines & lathes, the list goes on!
My projects can vary quite a lot from one to another so I will need a different tool set for each one. Quite often I am not the one using the big machines as it’d better for a real expert who uses them every day to do the trickier job – much quicker than me!
